Attention Hauppauge Baseball Families – 7U & 8U Travel Opportunities!
We are currently exploring the possibility of forming both a pure 7U travel team and an additional 8U team for the upcoming season. Our current numbers are right on the border of making this possible, and we need your help!
If you know of any families with players interested in travel baseball who have not yet signed up, please encourage them to do so as soon as possible.
To make the most informed decisions, we will be hosting weekly fall travel clinics for:
All 7U players, and
All 8U players not currently on Coach Lodico’s team
These clinics will serve as an extended tryout period, allowing us to evaluate players over time—not just based on a single session. Our goal is to identify a few more players to round out full rosters for both a 7U team and a second 8U team.
If we are unable to field both teams, we will instead create a hybrid 7U/8U team at the end of the fall made up of players who demonstrate the most skill, growth, maturity, and—most importantly—coachability.
We’re excited about the talent we’ve seen so far and are hopeful that with your help spreading the word, we can finalize full rosters and give more players the opportunity to compete and develop this season.
